MyMusicGig was started by a group of musicians who became frustrated while recording a new CD with their band in their home built studio.  They needed a pedal steel player and a harmonica player.  It was simply too hard to find a great musician at a great price.  Therefore MyMusicGig was created.  Now any musician  in the world can hire an awesome professional musician to play on their CD or demo at the click of a button.

Also professional musicians can create a great new revenue stream by playing on other people's CD's and home studio recordings all from the comfort of their home studio.  The musician simply creates the gig, gets the offer, downloads the mp3, and then lays down several tracks/takes that the buyer can use during mixdown.
